Responsibilities of the OPM
In this role you will be held accountable for a number of important duties within the company, these include:

You must be aware of KPI’s when directing your team and should use these to push the business forward.

You must be able to coach and train your colleagues.
As you will become the manager, you will be expected to bring new ideas to the table, and find effective ways of marketing the practice to ensure your sales are fully optimised.
Requirements of the OPM
An OPM role requires varied background experience and the perfect candidate should have the following qualities:

You must have past experience working in a busy optical practice with a proven track record of improving a business growth on a yearly basis.

You must be able to make decisions when left on your own.

You must be a friendly and approachable individual who is able to build professional relationships with both clients / colleagues.

You must have experience working in an all-round role, this comprises of managing a large team, setting targets and maintaining your team has a common goal, providing necessary training and development to your staff and leading from the front of the store, which all contribute to this job position.
