An Exciting Time to Join
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Optical Assistant to join an established and busy team at an exciting point in its development.
With long standing colleagues, there is plenty of experience within the wider business, but the practice is particularly keen to bring in experienced Optical Assistants who can hit the ground running and provide additional stability and knowledge to the team.
The ideal candidate will have around 2 years’ optical experience and be confident across the full range of Optical Assistant responsibilities.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing excellent customer service throughout the patient journey
- Pre-screening and supporting the clinical team
- Dispensing and helping customers find the right eyewear
- Taking responsibility for achieving dispensing and interaction targets
- Working as part of a busy, collaborative optical team
- Supporting newer members of the team and apprentices
- Helping the practice maximise the opportunities created by the new store
- Maintaining high standards of patient care and customer experience
What They’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has around 2 years’ optical experience
- Is confident and capable across dispensing and general Optical Assistant duties
- Can work independently while contributing positively to the wider team
- Has a professional and customer-focused approach
- Is reliable and looking for a stable opportunity
- Is keen to develop their optical career
