Responsibilities of the Optical Practice Manager
While you work within this role, you will have some key duties to carry out, these are as follows;

You must ensure that the practice runs smoothly throughout the day.

You must ensure that customers always receive exceptional service.

You must try to inspire staff to work at their full potential and meet the professional standards that the practice demands.

You must try to drive sales and help grow the business.

You must consider the customers needs and offer support to both customers and staff.
Requirements of the Optical Practice Manager
To succeed within this role, there are some minimum requirements you will need, these are as follows;

You should have previous experience as an Optical Practice Manager, preferred but NOT essential.

You should have expertise specifically as a team leader, so that you can always ensure your team are encouraged to perform.

You should allow your team to make suggestions as a manager.

You should have strong leadership skills as well as an approachable demeanour for both customers and staff.

You should have a strong business acumen and new ideas of how to market the business.

You should also have an understanding of KPI’s and managing goals whilst approaching your work in an organised fashion.
