Salary: Up to 28,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: Full time | 37.5 hours per week ( closed on a Sundays)
Location: Glasgow
We’re currently working with a well-established independent optical practice based in the heart of Glasgow, known for its long-standing reputation within the local community and commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a professional, highly skilled team who take real pride in the service they provide. The practice has built a loyal and returning patient base, thanks to its personable approach, attention to detail, and focus on quality over volume.
Important Requirement:
You must have a minimum of 6 months’ experience working within optics. Applications without this will not be considered.

Responsibilities:
- Dispensing to a wide range of patients
- Carrying out pre-screening tests confidently
- Maintaining high standards of patient care throughout the journey
What we are looking for:
- Previous Optical Assistant experience preferred
- A friendly, approachable, and professional manner
- A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Someone who enjoys working as part of a close-knit team
