Optical Assistant – Leicestershire
Salary: Up to £25,000–£26,500
Hours: Full-Time

A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Optical Assistant to join a well-established and busy optical practice with an excellent reputation in the local area. The Role
As an Optical Assistant, you will play an important role in ensuring patients receive an excellent experience from start to finish.
Duties will include:
• Dispensing frames and lenses confidently to patients
• Supporting the smooth running of clinics and daily practice operations
• Delivering exceptional customer care throughout the patient journey
• Working closely with colleagues in a team-focused environment
• Assisting with general practice duties in a busy optical setting
• Contributing positively to the overall success and atmosphere of the store

About You
To be considered, you must already have a minimum of 12 months’ experience working within optics. You’ll be confident communicating with patients, comfortable within a busy environment, and passionate about delivering high standards of customer care. A positive attitude and strong team ethic are essential.
