Salary: Up to 60,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Full time or part time considered
Location: Blackpool Area
Experience: Ideally experienced Optometrist (contact lens experience required)
A fantastic opportunity has become available within a well-established high street optical practice located in the Blackpool area. This modern and forward-thinking store is looking to strengthen its team with a confident, experienced Optometrist who can act as a key figure within the practice.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys being a central part of a store’s success. Combining strong clinical expertise with commercial awareness and helping to drive both patient care and business performance.
What’s on Offer:
- Quarterly bonus scheme (£500 -£2,000 depending on performance)
- 28 days annual leave
- GOC fees paid
- Monthly in-store CPD (1 hour protected time)
- 1 in 4 Saturdays off
- Closed on Sundays

Working Environment:

- 30-minute testing times with separate 10-minute pre-screen

You’ll be expected to:
- Deliver high-quality sight tests and contact lens clinics
- Provide an outstanding patient experience at every stage
- Drive strong conversion through confident, ethical recommendations
- Demonstrate clear commercial awareness and business understanding
- Support the team and contribute to overall store performance
- Handle challenges with a proactive, solutions-focused approach

- Experienced Optometrist looking to take on a key role within a practice
- Strong clinical ability combined with solid business awareness
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Commercially minded without compromising patient care
- Understands the importance of structure, performance, and patient journey
