We’re working with a highly respected independent practice in South West London that has been serving its local community for more than 20 years. Known for delivering exceptional patient care and offering a premium optical experience, this practice has built an outstanding reputation by putting quality ahead of volume.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Dispensing Optician who enjoys leading by example, supporting a team, and playing a key role in the day-to-day success of a thriving independent practice.
The Role
- Full-time, permanent position
- Weekend availability required
- Delivering expert dispensing advice and exceptional patient care
- Supporting patients with tailored frame and lens recommendations
- Leading, motivating, and supporting the optical team
- Assisting with the day-to-day management and smooth running of the practice
- Maintaining high clinical and customer service standards throughout the business
- Supporting staff development, training, and performance
- Working closely with the practice owners to drive continued growth and success
- Supporting social media and local marketing initiatives
- Bringing fresh ideas and contributing to the future direction of the practice

Salary & Benefits
- Salary up to £40,000 depending on experience

Who They’re Looking For
- Qualified Dispensing Optician (GOC registered)
- Previous leadership, supervisory, or management experience within optics
- Strong dispensing knowledge and attention to detail
- Professional, organised, and reliable
- A natural leader who enjoys developing and supporting colleagues
- Confident managing patient expectations and delivering outstanding service
- Proactive and commercially aware
- Someone who takes pride in their work and wants to make a genuine impact within the practice
