A Great Opportunity for an Experienced Optical Assistant
We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Optical Assistant to join a friendly and supportive optical team in Kidderminster.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in delivering excellent customer service and wants to continue developing their optical skills within a close-knit team.
What They’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have around two years’ optical experience and be confident across:
- Optical dispensing
- Pre-screening
- Contact lens support
- Patient/customer service
- Frame and lens selection
- General practice support
Experience with OCT would be advantageous.
Most importantly, they’re looking for someone who is:
- Naturally friendly, positive and approachable
- Confident speaking to and engaging with customers
- Bubbly and enthusiastic
- Not afraid to approach customers and start conversations
- Keen to learn and develop
- A genuine team player
- Comfortable working in a busy environment
- Someone who enjoys being part of a close-knit team
