Are you an experienced Optical Assistant who takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service and enjoys working with premium eyewear?
This is an exciting opportunity to join a respected independent optical practice in Nottingham where patient care, attention to detail and quality always come before volume. You’ll become part of a friendly, experienced team, helping patients find the perfect eyewear while working with some of the finest frames and lenses available.
The Role
You’ll work closely with the Dispensing Optician and Optometrists, supporting patients throughout their entire optical journey.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting patients with frame selection and styling
- Supporting premium eyewear dispensing
- Taking accurate measurements
- Adjusting and fitting spectacles
- Delivering outstanding customer service
- Building lasting relationships with a loyal patient base
The practice specialises in premium dispensing, with average eyewear purchases between £500-£700, giving you the opportunity to work with high-quality products and provide a truly personalised experience.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous Optical Assistant experience
- Independent practice experience preferred
- Confidence with premium eyewear and styling
- Excellent communication skills
- A friendly, professional and approachable manner
- A genuine passion for patient care and customer service
