Optical Supervisor / Assistant Manager – Slough
Inspired Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for an Optical Supervisor / Assistant Manager on behalf of a well-established optical practice.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Optical Assistant looking to take the next step in their career, or an existing Supervisor seeking a new challenge within a supportive and customer-focused environment.
Working closely with the Practice Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the store, supporting the team, delivering outstanding customer service and helping to drive business performance.
The Role:
o Supporting the Practice Manager with the daily operation of the store
o Leading and motivating the team to achieve KPIs and business objectives
o Conducting morning briefings and allocating daily workloads
o Acting as a keyholder, including opening and closing the practice
o Cashing up and completing end-of-day procedures
o Providing coaching, mentoring and support to team members
o Ensuring exceptional customer service standards are maintained at all times
o Assisting with customer queries and resolving issues professionally
o Supporting the smooth flow of patients throughout their journey
The Ideal Candidate:
o Previous optical experience is essential
o Leadership or supervisory experience would be advantageous
o Passionate about customer service and patient care
o Confident communicator with strong organisational skills
o Able to motivate and support colleagues effectively
o Commercially aware with a positive and proactive attitude
o A team player who leads by example
What’s On Offer?
o Salary up to 28,000 per annum
o Full-time position (37.5 hours per week)
o One weekend day required
