Location: West / Greater Manchester
Hours: Full time | 37.5 hours per week
Salary: Up to £32,000 (depending on experience) + monthly bonus
We’re working with a highly regarded independent optical practice known for its beautifully curated eyewear collections, premium patient experience, and a real passion for style-led dispensing.
This is a vibrant, welcoming environment where personality matters just as much as clinical ability. The team pride themselves on creating a relaxed, friendly space where patients feel genuinely looked after – not rushed through.
With exciting plans in place, the practice is also expanding into audiology and aesthetics, attracting a broad and diverse patient base. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being part of a modern, forward-thinking clinical environment with a strong lifestyle and fashion focus.
Important Requirement:
You must have a minimum of 6 months’ experience working within optics. Applications without this will not be considered.

The role
- Dispensing eyewear with a strong focus on style, fit, and patient confidence
- Supporting smooth pre-screening where required
- Delivering warm, engaging patient experiences from start to finish
- Helping patients choose frames that truly suit their lifestyle and personality
- Contributing to a positive, welcoming in-store atmosphere
- Supporting the wider patient journey across optical, audiology, and aesthetics services
What we’re looking for
- Minimum 6 months’ experience within optics (essential)
- Someone with a natural eye for style, fashion, and frame selection
- A confident communicator who enjoys building rapport quickly
- A warm, personable approach that puts patients at ease
- Someone who enjoys being part of a lively, collaborative team
- A proactive attitude with a focus on experience rather than admin-heavy work
