Following the joint completion of SightGlass Vision, three leaders from the founding businesses have been appointed to executive management positions.
SightGlass Vision assigned Andrew Sedgwick as chief executive officer. Sedgwick was previously senior vice president of commercial strategy at CooperVision, where he was part of the company for 20 years.
Sedgwick said: ‘Commercialization of Diffusion Optics Technology is progressing in collaboration with our distributors, including the first European launch in the Netherlands and planned introductions for other markets this year. We are backed by a talented and growing team recruited from across the eye care profession—including the senior leaders announced today—and will be adding even more people in the coming months.’
François Bloquiau has been appointed chief financial officer (CFO), a role he previously held at EssilorLuxottica Brazil.
Balthazar Masurel has been appointed the position of vice president of Strategic Marketing.
