Blind and partially sighted musicians and vocalists played a pivotal role in the development of a new sonic identity for the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB).
Collaborating with Molecular, a creative music and sound design agency renowned for crafting sonic branding for major entities like the Premier League and Disney+, RNIB has unveiled a comprehensive suite of brand sounds.
At the heart of this sonic identity is a captivating four-second audio piece featuring a piano motif and the distinctive voices of a chorus composed of individuals with visual impairments uttering the charity’s initials.
These diverse sounds, carefully curated and designed to evoke upbeat, downbeat, or neutral vibes, will be seamlessly integrated into various mediums. From branded video content and events to RNIB hold music and jingles, the sonic identity will also find its place in clips for RNIB Connect Radio. This inclusive collaboration not only establishes a unique auditory brand for RNIB but also highlights the creative contributions of individuals with visual impairments in shaping the charity’s sonic landscape.
