Salary: up to £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Full time – Half day Saturday and closed Sunday
Days: 4.5 a week
Location: Greater Glasgow
We’re working with a growing independent optical group based in Glasgow, offering an exciting opportunity for an Optometrist who wants to feel genuinely valued and play an important part in a practice’s success.
With several practices across the area and further expansion underway, this is a fantastic opportunity to join an ambitious independent group that values clinical care, strong patient relationships and a personal approach to optometry.

The Role
- Delivering high-quality clinical care and an excellent patient experience
- Working alongside a friendly and experienced practice team
- Building strong relationships with patients and providing personalised eyecare
- Making use of modern clinical technology and equipment
- Continuing to develop your clinical skills with ongoing support
What we are looking for
- A proactive Optometrist who takes real ownership and pride in their role.
- The perfect balance of clinical excellence and commercial awareness.
- Strong lens knowledge and confidence recommending tailored optical solutions.
- Passionate about building lasting patient relationships and delivering exceptional care.
- Comfortable discussing figures and practice performance, while always putting patients first.
- Motivated to contribute to the practice’s success
