A well-established and busy optical practice in Wandsworth is looking for an Optometrist to join their experienced clinical team.

The Practice
-4 fully equipped testing rooms
-Modern clinical equipment
-Contact lens clinics
-Audiology clinic running twice per week
-Consistent clinic demand and strong patient base
-You will be joining a large and supportive team, including multiple experienced Optometrists and a strong retail support team.
-The practice has a collaborative and supportive culture, with colleagues working closely together to ensure excellent patient care.
Clinical Workload
-25-minute testing times
-16-17 patients per day
-Pre-screening completed before testing
-Contact lens work included
The practice also supports additional clinical services, including:
-Minor Eye Conditions Services (MECS)
-Cataract referral schemes
-Training and development support is available for clinicians looking to expand their skills.
What We’re Looking For
Applications are welcome from newly qualified and experienced Optometrists.
The ideal candidate will be:
-Patient-focused and approachable
-Clinically confident and professional
-Reliable and punctual
-Well presented with strong communication skills
-Comfortable working as part of a team
-Personality and patient rapport are highly valued in this practice.
Salary & Benefits
– £44,000 – 58,000 depending on experience
-Performance-related bonus up to 6,000
-28 days holiday including bank holidays
-Additional annual leave with service (up to 33 days)
-CET and professional development support
-Professional fees covered
-Indemnity insurance provided
Working Hours
-Monday – Friday
-9:30am – 6:30pm
-1 hour lunch break
-No weekend working
-Full-time preferred, but 4 days per week may be considered.
