Optometrist – Independent Group – Greater Manchester
Location: Working across two established practices in Greater Manchester
Salary: Up to £60,000 + bonus (£2,000–£3,000 per year)
Hours: Full-time preferred, part-time considered
Contract: 12-month maternity cover with strong potential to extend or become permanent
A growing, forward-thinking independent group is looking for a GOC-registered Optometrist to join their team across two well-established practices in Greater Manchester. With recent growth and new acquisitions underway, this is an ideal time to get involved in a business with momentum, investment, and a clear vision.

About You:
- GOC-registered Optometrist
- Comfortable working across two locations (both within easy reach)
- Happy working in a busy, fast-moving environment with a strong team culture
- Commercially aware and able to support improvements in patient journey and conversion
- Ideally able to support contact lens work (although volume is low)
- Whether newly qualified or experienced – what matters is the right mindset and professionalism
This is a 12-month maternity cover initially, but with the business acquiring more practices and investing in its infrastructure, there’s every chance this can become a long-term opportunity.
