Optical Practice Manager – Independent Opticians

Salary Up To £35,000 + Monthly Bonus
YOU MUST HAVE AT LEAST 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE MANAGING AN OPTICIANS OT YOUR CV WILL BE REJECTED
An established independent optician is looking for a strong, experienced Practice Manager to take control of a successful high street practice. This is a business already performing well commercially, but they now want a genuine leader — somebody with authority, accountability, and the confidence to drive standards, performance, and team culture.
You’ll be reporting directly to the Director and will have real influence within the business, with long-term opportunities available for the right individual including progression into cluster management or potential own-practice opportunities in the future.

The Role
You’ll be responsible for:
- Leading and motivating the team daily
- Driving sales performance and hitting commercial targets
- Staff training and development
- Conducting interviews, appraisals and disciplinaries
- Managing rotas and day-to-day operations
- Maintaining high clinical and customer service standards
- Taking full ownership of the practice performance
What They’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years’ management experience within optics
- A confident leader with authority and presence
- Commercially aware and target-driven
- Strong experience managing people and performance
- Somebody proactive who can take control and make decisions
Salary & Benefits
- Salary up to £35,000 depending on experience
- Monthly bonus starting from £500 once targets are achieved
- Bonus increases beyond target performance
- 30 days holiday plus bank holidays
