Domiciliary Optical Assistant – Glasgow, Lanarkshire & Surrounding Areas

We’re working with a respected domiciliary provider looking for an experienced Optical Assistant to deliver eye care to patients in their own homes across Glasgow, Lanarkshire and nearby areas. It’s a varied, rewarding role with Monday–Friday working only, early finishes most days and no weekends.
Important: You must have at least 12 months’ optical experience.
The Role:
- Supporting domiciliary eye care clinics
- Visiting patients in their homes
- Dispensing eyewear, including varifocals
- Working independently or in split (Z) clinics
- Around 4–12 dispenses per day
You’ll Need:
- Minimum 12 months’ optical experience
- Confidence working on your own
- Full clean driving licence
- A calm, caring and professional manner
- Acuitas / care background a bonus, not essential
What’s On Offer:
- £27,000 salary
- Company car
- Monday–Friday only
