Optical Assistant – Wirral | 37.5 Hours – Optical Experience Required

Join a small, friendly team across two well-established community practices, where patients and staff alike are valued. These are Optician-led practices, not retail-focused “shopticians,” meaning you’ll enjoy a relaxed environment with no sales targets or pressure.
Salary: starting from £25,350
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours over 5 days) | Monday to Saturday, 9:00am – 5:30pm (1-hour lunch)
Location: The Wirral (both high street locations)

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Greeting and welcoming patients with a friendly, professional manner
- Assisting patients with frame selection and explaining lens options (without sales pressure)
- Performing routine pre-screening tasks such as visual acuity checks and basic tests
- Delivering excellent patient care in a professional and friendly manner
- Being an active, supportive member of a small, close-knit team
About You:
- Experience as an Optical Assistant is preferred, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are highly valued
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- A proactive, team-focused approach
- Attention to detail and dedication to excellent service
