We’re looking for a customer-focused Optical Assistant to join a high-performing, fast-paced practice in Edinburgh. This full-time, permanent role is with a respected franchise partner of one of the UK’s leading optical brands.
Please Note: Applicants must have at least 12 months of experience in optics to be considered.

” 26,500 basic salary
” Full-time, including one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday)

Key Responsibilities
” Dispense to all levels, including complex prescriptions
” Conduct pre-screening and contact lens teaches
” Handle frame styling, fitting, adjustments and collections
” Advise patients on the best lens and frame options
” Manage reception and admin duties
What We’re Looking For
” Minimum 12 months’ optical experience
” Solid dispensing and pre-testing knowledge
” Team player with great communication skills
” Genuinely customer-focused and professional
” Eager to grow and progress in optics
