Do you have 5+ years of experience as an Optical Assistant in a high-end independent setting? Are you confident with premium lenses and want to be part of a growing, loyal team that values long-term care over quick sales?
A beautifully refitted high-end independent opticians is looking for an experienced Optical Assistant to join their tight-knit team. The practice is busy, growing, and committed to offering exceptional patient experiences.
Package & Perks
- Basic salary up to £27,000 (DOE)

- 20–25 days holiday + bank holidays (flexible)

The Role:
This isn’t just a sales role. You’ll be part of a small, dedicated team that takes pride in delivering high-quality care. You’ll support the Dispensing Manager, help manage patient flow, and ensure each patient receives the attention and technical advice they deserve.
The practice is growing fast – without someone like you, there’s a risk of delays, missed opportunities, and stalling momentum.
You’ll need to bring:
- At least 5 years’ experience in an independent or high-end practice
- Solid knowledge of premium lenses and high average dispenses
- Great communication skills and the ability to handle busy clinics with professionalism
- Confidence in explaining lens options and providing top-tier patient care
