Experience: GOC registration required
An excellent opportunity has become available at a well-established independent optical practice in Burnley, known for its friendly team, clinical standards, and commitment to customer care over sales targets.
With a successful store with two well-equipped test rooms, and a strong team including 3–4 Dispensing Opticians and 3 Optometrists, this is a practice where you can focus on doing the job properly – not just hitting numbers.
What We’re Looking For:
- A qualified and GOC-registered Dispensing Optician
- Someone confident in all levels of dispensing
- A great communicator with a passion for customer service and eyewear styling
- A team player who can contribute immediately in a busy practice
- Someone who values a service-led approach, not a sales-heavy environment
What You’ll Get:
- A thriving, busy high street practice with a loyal customer base
- A supportive team, with further development available if desired
- Time and space to provide the care and attention each patient deserves
- Free parking just a 10-minute walk from the practice
- Salary up to £30,000 basic + £2,000–£3,000 annual bonus
- Opportunities to contribute beyond the test room, including social media and patient experience improvements
This role suits a confident DO looking for a stable, customer-focused environment without the pressure of management responsibilities. If you’re ready to join a respected, growing team where your expertise is appreciated and your progression is supported, we want to hear from you.
