Responsibilities of the Optometrist
You will have a number of key duties that you will be tasked with in this role, these are as follows:

You must be able to perform eye tests within 25 minute appointments.

You must be able to achieve a 60% conversion rate with each of your patients.

You must be able to carry out 15 tests per day.
-
You must be able to work as a Pre-Registered Supervisor.

You must be able to perform retinal imaging on each of your clients.
-
You must be able to adhere to all GOC guidelines.
-
You must be able to build excellent patient reports.
-
You must be able to perform contact lens fittings.
Requirements of the Optometrist
To be considered for this role, all you need to do is meet the following requirements:

You must be fully qualified and GOC Registered.

You must be either newly qualified or have prior experience in Optics.
-
You must be a MECS accredited, pre-registered supervisor
-
You must be able to work in a busy, fast-paced environment.
-
You must have a very friendly personality to both customers and colleagues.

You must have a customer focused approach to your work.
-
You must be able to build strong working relationships within the practice.
