A well known and highly respected optical independent group are now looking for an Optometrist for either a 4 day optometrist or 5 day optometrist working between 2 different practices.
This high-end practice offers the very latest products and they pride themselves on delivering the very best in eye care to the highest of standards, with exemplary customer service.
Optometrist Position
This company can offer the use of the latest technologies in the eye-care industry and all inside just 30 minutes for each eye-test.
With modern equipment such as the OCT as well as a combined Auto-Refractor / Tonometer, it is a great opportunity for an Optometrist to broaden their skill set and learn how to use these different instruments in the role.
Responsibilities of the Optometrist
You will be expected to be able to work in a small team, providing the best clinical service that you can, that’s all we ask. You will be carrying out these tasks:

Giving eye-tests

Contact lens fitting
-
Giving aftercare advice
-
Updating records of each patient
-
Keeping a professional outlook and knowledge of Optometry
It goes without saying that you will have to conduct a thorough sight test each time, and when necessary offer your own expert advice and recommendations.
On top of that you will also have to make space to answer any questions that arise from both your colleagues or clients.
Requirements of the Optometrist

You will need to be a fully qualified Optometrist, that is GOC registered and up to date with all CET requirements.
You will need to be hard-working and have a clinical slant on everything you do.
You will need to be passionate about customer service and patient care.
You will need to have a successful career to date, and be able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills, knowledge and expertise from a clinical standpoint.
You will need to be flexible with working days as these can vary between stores
