This vacancy is open to all training Optometrists in or around the London area to gain some hands on experience in a very new and exciting role. The company are looking for someone to work 4.5 days a week as a professional Optometrist. You will be shadowing a qualified Optometrist as well as having additional support from a team of staff in the practice.
The client is looking for a passionate individual who is looking to grow the eye care and so you will be expected to get involved with local communities through committees and events where you can boost the companies profile. One thing goal that is very important to this company is to work as a team and support each other, which is why you will get the chance to coach your own team of staff.
Responsibilities of the Optometrist
Within this role you will be expected to carry out a number of duties, these include;

You must conduct sight tests and contact lens fittings

You must be involved in the commercial development of the practice

You must contribute your ideas in staff meetings in terms of initiatives and marketing

You must work closely with the practice manager to provide training to colleagues at the practice
Requirements of the Optometrist
To succeed and work within this role, you will need to meet these requirements;

You must be Fully Qualified and GOC Registered to apply for this position

You must have an up-to-date record of CET requirements

You must be able to work within 20 minute time slots

You must have leadership skills and ability to deliver consistently fantastic results
