OCL Vision has expanded its dedicated retina clinic by appointing a third consultant surgeon, Dr Rabia Bourkiza.
Dr Bourkiza is a vitreoretinal specialist who has worked at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust. Previously holding roles at Moorfields Eye Hospital.
‘Whether bringing clarity to cataract patients who’ve lived with cloudy vision for years or saving the sight of those who’ve suffered retinal damage, I’m proud to be joining the OCL Vision family and look forward to using my skills, and OCL’s world-class facilities, to provide life-changing results to as many patients as possible,’ Bourkiza said.
Due to a large increase in patient enquires (3,000 in a month) OCL Vision have had to appoint seven new support staff to meet demand.
