What’s the Role?
You’ll be joining a friendly, tight-knit team where your clinical skills are valued, and your progression is encouraged. Here’s what your day will look like:
- 30-minute test times, with all pre-screening handled by experienced Optical Assistants
- Contact lens fittings only – no dispensing duties
- 2 fully equipped test rooms (with a third on the way!)
- OCT already on-site, with phoropters coming soon
- A relaxed, patient-first atmosphere — no sales pressure, no hard targets
What’s the Environment Like?
- Central high street location with easy nearby parking
- Supportive, close-knit team: 2 Optometrists + 8 support staff
- No daily KPIs – just genuine rapport-building and quality care
- Practice open from 9am–5pm (with a 30-minute lunch)
- Saturdays required (ideally 3 per month), but no Sundays or late nights
What’s on Offer?
- £45,000 starting salary for newly qualified Optometrists
- Up to £58,000 for experienced candidates
- Annual store bonus of up to £1,000
