We’re The Eye Place, known for combining clinical precision with standout service and premium eyewear. Now, we’re launching a boutique practice in South Sheffield, and we’re looking for a Qualified Dispensing Optician who’s ready to step into a role with purpose, influence, and a blank canvas.

The Role: Precision Meets Personality
We’re building a fresh, forward-thinking team with a shared passion for quality. You’ll be the go-to for all things dispensing, working closely with our Optometrist and Becca (our DO and acting manager) to deliver an exceptional patient journey.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Leading the dispensing process and delivering tailored eyewear solutions
- Offering style and lens expertise to a high-value clientele (ADV around £700)
- Helping set the tone, standards, and flow of the new store
- Getting hands-on with pre-screening, and ensuring the day runs smoothly
- Creating a practice culture that’s built on quality, care, and trust
Who We’re Looking For
You’re a GOC-registered Dispensing Optician who’s not just good at the job—you care deeply about doing it well. You’re:
- Confident, polished, and patient-focused
- Comfortable leading from the front and setting the standard
- A great communicator with a strong clinical and retail background
- Someone who values traditional service, supported by modern tools (we’ve got OCT, Optomap, and more)
