The Role: Optical Assistant
Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne
Salary: Up to £27,000 + bonus
Hours: Full-time – 41.5 hours per week
(Mon–Fri 08:45–18:00, Sat 08:45–17:00 – that’s right, no Sundays or Bank Holidays!)

What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing expert dispensing, pre-screening, and contact lens teaching
- Delivering next-level patient care, every single day
- Supporting both clinical and commercial excellence across the board
- Working shoulder-to-shoulder with a passionate, supportive team
What You’ll Need
- At least 12 months of optical experience
- Confidence in full dispensing & pre-screening
- A proactive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic
- Experience in a multiple is a bonus, but not essential
- A love for teamwork and top-tier customer service
