Bayfields Opticians and Audiologists has appointed Rob Ormerod as head of audiology to lead a rollout of hearing services at the group’s 38 practices and to lead recruitment drive.
Ormerod holds previous experience as a retail excellence manager at hearing aid retailer Amplifon. Also having held previous roles in commercial management across audiology and the wider health sector for 17 years, including Boots Hearingcare and the NHS.
He commented: ‘There is a great mix of very talented people already within the business, and in coming months, recruitment will be a priority to ensure we can expand audiology services at the pace and level of quality we want to achieve.’
