Optometrist
Location: North London
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 DOE
Monday to Friday – No Weekends or Bank Holidays
Full-Time or Part-Time – Minimum 3 Days
Important: You must be GOC registered, have UK Optometry experience and live in North London or within approximately 1–2 miles of the area.

The Opportunity
We’re working with a well-established domiciliary eye care provider looking for an Optometrist to support patients across North London and the immediate surrounding area.
This could be an excellent opportunity if you enjoy the clinical side of Optometry but would like to move away from the sales targets and pressures that can come with a traditional retail environment.
You’ll provide essential eye care to patients who are unable to easily visit a high-street practice, giving you the opportunity to spend quality time with patients and make a genuine difference.
The patch is designed to be very local, which is why we’re specifically looking for somebody already living in North London or within approximately 1–2 miles of the area.
The Role
- Monday to Friday only – no weekends or Bank Holidays
- Full-time or part-time considered – minimum 3 days per week
- Covering North London and the immediate surrounding area
- Patient-focused domiciliary eye examinations
- Supported with the organisation and planning of your appointments
- Full testing equipment provided
- Strong clinical focus without traditional retail sales pressures
- Opportunity to build genuine relationships with patients
What We’re Looking For
You’ll need to be a GOC registered Optometrist with UK experience and, importantly, already live locally to North London.
We’re looking for somebody who is:
- Warm, personable and confident building rapport with patients
- Comfortable working independently
- Patient and understanding, with a genuine caring approach
- Organised, reliable and adaptable
- Looking for a role offering a better work-life balance
- Happy working within a domiciliary environment
A driving licence isn’t essential, although being able to drive would be preferred.
Previous domiciliary experience would be beneficial but isn’t essential if you have the right personality and approach to patient care.
Salary & Package
- £50,000 – £60,000 depending on experience
- Monday to Friday working
- No weekends
- No Bank Holidays
- Full-time or part-time considered
- Minimum 3 days per week
- Local North London based territory
- Supportive, established domiciliary provider
- Excellent opportunity to move away from a traditional retail environment
