Salary: Up to £27,000 DOE

About the Opportunity
We’re working with a well-established optical practice that is looking for an experienced Optical Assistant to join a small, friendly team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a relaxed, personable environment, where you can take pride in looking after patients and helping the practice deliver an excellent level of service.
The practice is looking for someone who can genuinely look after everything across the practice and become a trusted and valued member of the team.
What They’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have around 2 years’ experience as an Optical Assistant and be confident dispensing to all levels.
They’re looking for someone who is:

- Confident dispensing to all levels
- Comfortable working independently within a small team
- Naturally good with patients and able to build strong relationships
- Commercially aware, with the confidence to identify opportunities to increase sales

The Role
- Full-time position
- Approximately 2 years’ optical experience preferred
- Dispensing to all levels
- Patient care and customer service
- Frame and lens selection
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the practice
- Helping to develop dispensing sales
- Working alongside the Optometrist
