Salary: up to 25,000
Hours: Full time | 37.5 hours per week
Location: East Manchester
We are currently supporting an independent optical practice based within a local shopping centre in Tameside. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a more relaxed, community-focused environment where you can take ownership of your role and build strong relationships with returning patients.
You ll be joining a small, friendly team who are passionate about delivering a personal and professional service. With a steadier pace, this role offers the chance to really focus on patient care, develop your dispensing skills, and contribute to growing the practice s presence within the local area.
Important Requirement:
You must have a minimum of 6 months’ experience working within optics. Applications without this will not be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Welcoming patients and delivering a warm, professional experience
- Assisting with frame styling, fittings, and adjustments
- Handling pre-screening tests and basic clinical admin
- Managing appointments and supporting front-of-house operations
- Engaging with visitors to help build awareness and generate new business
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the practice
