Are you an experienced Dispensing Optician who enjoys delivering exceptional patient care and working with premium eyewear?
This is an opportunity to join a respected independent optical practice in Nottingham, where quality always comes before volume. You’ll be working with a loyal patient base, dispensing some of the industry’s leading lens and frame brands, and providing a truly personalised experience from start to finish.
If you have experience in an independent practice and enjoy high-end dispensing, this could be the perfect next step in your career.
The Role
The practice focuses on longer appointment times, premium products and building lasting relationships with patients rather than rushing through appointments.
You’ll be dispensing premium frames and lenses, offering tailored advice based on lifestyle and visual needs, carrying out frame styling, measurements and fittings, making adjustments and ensuring every patient leaves with complete confidence in their eyewear.
The practice regularly dispenses products with an average value of £500-£700, making this an ideal environment for someone who enjoys complex and premium dispensing.
What You’ll Need
- GOC registered Dispensing Optician
- Previous experience within an independent optical practice
- Confidence with premium and bespoke dispensing
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service
- A professional, personable and consultative approach

- Team bonus averaging £100-£150 per month
