Optical Assistant – Full Time | Independent Practice | South West London | Up to £28,000 DOE

They’re now looking for an experienced Optical Assistant who takes pride in their work, enjoys being part of a close-knit team, and wants to be involved in more than just the day-to-day routine.
The Role
- Full-time, permanent position
- Weekend availability required
- Dispensing high-quality eyewear with a strong focus on patient experience
- Supporting patients with tailored frame and lens choices
- Handling a varied patient base with professionalism and patience
- Playing an active role in the smooth running of the practice
- Supporting social media and local marketing activity
- Bringing ideas to the table — this is a place where your input is genuinely valued
The Practice
This is a modern, independent practice offering a premium service with advanced clinical capabilities, including OCT, retinal imaging, corneal topography, and myopia management.
You’ll be working with a team that genuinely cares about doing things properly — no conveyor belt, no corner cutting. Just good, honest optics done the right way.
They’ve also curated a strong selection of luxury eyewear, so if you enjoy working with quality products and styling patients properly, you’ll feel right at home.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary up to £28,000 depending on experience
- 28 days holiday including bank holidays
