Salary Up to £27,000

Full-Time Optical Assistant – Independent Opticians, Beeston
An established Independent Opticians in Beeston is looking for a dedicated and customer-focused Optical Assistant to join their team full-time. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment where you can make a real difference to patients while developing your career.
What you’ll be doing:
- Assisting customers with frame selection, lens options, and other optical products.
- Dispensing to all levels with confidence.
- Conducting pre-screening tests and gathering information for the optometrist.
- Handling administrative duties, including appointment scheduling and record-keeping.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming retail environment.
- Providing excellent customer service and resolving queries professionally.
- Collaborating with the optometrist and wider team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience in an optical dispensing role.
- Confident in dispensing to all levels.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented, organised, and able to multitask in a busy environment.
- Basic knowledge of optical terminology and products.
What’s on offer:
- Salary: £27,000 per annum.

Working hours:
- Monday to Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Closed Thursdays, Sundays, and Bank Holidays
