Domiciliary Optical Assistant – Kilmarnock, Ayrshire & the West Coast of Scotland

We’re working with a well-established domiciliary provider seeking an experienced Optical Assistant to deliver eye care to patients in their own homes across Kilmarnock, Ayrshire and the West Coast of Scotland. It’s a varied, rewarding role with Monday–Friday working, early finishes most days and no weekends.
Important: You must have at least 12 months’ optical experience to be considered.
The Role:
- Supporting domiciliary eye care clinics
- Visiting patients in their homes across Ayrshire and the West Coast
- Dispensing eyewear, including varifocals
- Working independently or within split (Z) clinics
- Managing around 4–12 dispenses per day
You’ll Need:
- Minimum 12 months’ optical experience
- Confidence working independently
- Full clean driving licence
- A calm, caring and professional approach
- Acuitas or care experience is a bonus
What’s On Offer:
- £27,000 salary
- Company car
- Monday–Friday only
