Optometrist – Independent Practice, East Yorkshire
Part-Time | 3 Days (Including Saturday 9:00-16:00) | No Sundays | 55,000 pro rata
If you’re the kind of optometrist who likes to roll your sleeves up and get properly involved in every part of the patient journey, this could be your next home.
This independent practice in East Yorkshire has a fantastic reputation and a loyal customer base built over years of genuine care. They’re now looking for a clinically minded, patient-focussed optometrist to join their small but busy team.
You’ll be testing at a comfortable 35 minutes, conducting your own pre-tests, and playing a key role in delivering the kind of personalised service that keeps patients coming back year after year.
The practice is well-equipped with OCT, phoropter, fundus camera, and a brand-new slit lamp. You’ll work with a mix of NHS and private patients and have access to a broad range of products to suit all budgets – so there’s no “one-size-fits-all” approach here.
Experience matters less than attitude – ideally, you’ll have 12+ months under your belt, but what really counts is personality, chairside manner, and work ethic. If you take pride in doing a proper job, treating people well, and going the extra mile for your patients and colleagues, you’ll fit right in.
