Optometrist – Full-Time | New Store, Covent Garden, London
Location: Covent Garden, Central London
Hours: Full-Time, 5 days per week (including weekends) 11am-7pm.
Start Date: Early 2026 (New Store Opening)
Salary: Very competitive – depending on experience.

As part of our continued growth, we’re opening a new flagship store in Covent Garden – a space that celebrates design, optical excellence, and the art of seeing differently.
The Role
We are looking for a passionate, people-focused Optometrist to join our growing team and play a key role in delivering an exceptional optical experience at our new Covent Garden store. This is a unique opportunity to combine clinical expertise with creativity, customer care, and design in a boutique, design-led environment equipped with the latest ZEISS diagnostic and imaging technology.
Optometry Equipment
Our new store will feature a state-of-the-art ZEISS suite, including:
- SL Series Slit Lamp
- VisuRef 1000 – multifunctional unit for autorefraction, keratometry, fundus imaging, dry eye assessment, and non-contact tonometry
- ZEISS Phoropter and digital test chart, fully integrated and controlled via iPad
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations using state-of-the-art ZEISS equipment, ensuring the highest clinical and visual standards.
- Provide expert advice and tailored recommendations on vision correction and eye health.
- Collaborate closely with the retail and dispensing team to ensure every customer receives a personalised, high-quality experience.
- Maintain accurate patient records and uphold GOC and NHS compliance.
- Represent our ethos – craftsmanship, sustainability, and thoughtful design – in every interaction.
- Support in-store events and community initiatives related to eye health and design.
About You
- Fully qualified and GOC registered Optometrist.
- Passionate about independent eyewear and premium optical experiences.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commercially aware but customer-first in approach.
- Enthusiastic about design, sustainability, and the independent eyewear industry.
- A team player who thrives in a collaborative, creative environment.
