Full time and up to £28,000 salary DOE

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Senior Optical Assistant to join a high-end independent practice in Nottingham. With a reputation built over 15+ years, this practice offers a boutique, patient-focused environment with an exceptional selection of luxury eyewear and the latest clinical technology.
This position is ideal for someone who already has strong dispensing experience and is looking to progress onto the Dispensing Optician course – with full support from a forward-thinking team that truly invests in their people.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Dispensing high-quality lenses and frames to suit a variety of needs and prescriptions
- Styling patients with fashion-forward frames and offering expert advice
- Supporting pre-screening and contact lens teaches
- Delivering a premium customer experience every time
- Working closely with senior clinicians and management to support daily operations
- Growing into a trainee DO role, with structured support toward qualification
What We’re Looking For
- A Senior Optical Assistant with strong dispensing experience
- Passionate about eyewear, with a flair for fashion and styling
- Ready to progress onto the Dispensing Optician course (sponsorship or funding considered for the right candidate)
- A natural communicator who loves delivering exceptional customer service
- Team-focused, reliable, and driven to grow professionally
- Previous experience in an independent or boutique environment is preferred but not essential
