Your Responsibilities as an Optometrist
As an integral part of the team, your role will include:
- Conducting full eye examinations using state-of-the-art equipment such as OCT and Optomap.
- Performing occasional contact lens fittings and advising on suitable options.
- Accurately diagnosing conditions and recommending vision solutions when handing over to the dispensing team.
- Working collaboratively to deliver high-quality patient care and ensure smooth practice operations.
- Staying up to date with industry advancements, products, and technology.
- Maintaining professional and ethical standards in line with regulatory guidelines.
What We’re Looking For
- GOC-registered Optometrist (newly qualified or experienced).
- Ability to perform comprehensive eye exams within a 30-minute timeframe.
- Experience with contact lens fittings and prescriptions.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
- A team player who fosters a positive working environment.
